Azamara Pursuit is the newest addition to the Azamara Club Cruises fleet. Offering capacity for just under 700 guests, Azamara Pursuit is a great choice if you are considering a luxury cruise aboard a mid-sized ship.
In-keeping with the experience offered aboard Azamara’s sister ships, Quest and Journey, Azamara Pursuit promises a genial country club-style atmosphere and an onboard decor that promotes relaxation and companionship amongst guests. With 400 crew members, Azamara Pursuit boasts a fantastic guest-to-staff ratio so you can be assured of great service throughout your voyage.
A great advantage of cruising on Azamara Pursuit is her size, which allows her to easily sail to small, off-the-beaten-track ports of call that larger vessels are unable to access. For example, whereas bigger ships may dock a couple of hours away from Bordeaux or Seville, Azamara Pursuit will take you as close to the city as is possible.
Azamara Pursuit Staterooms & Suites
Azamara Pursuit’s stateroom accommodation consists of the three following categories:
All three categories provide you with everything you will need for the duration of your cruise, and are equipped with amenities including an en-suite bathroom, “About Rose” toiletries, a writing/vanity desk and a comfortable bed. You will also receive a complimentary fruit basket on arrival as well as 24 hour room service.
There are also four suite categories available on Azamara Pursuit:
All of the suite categories boast a private veranda, as well as an afternoon tea service. Choose to sail in a suite and you will also enjoy 235 complimentary internet minutes (per guest), complimentary dining in the ship’s speciality restaurants and a free laundry service every seven days.
Azamara Pursuit Dining Options
Dining on Azamara Pursuit is available in a variety of restaurants. In fact, there is so much choice that you could probably dine somewhere different each night on a seven night voyage.
The ship’s main dining room is the Discoveries Restaurant, which offers a contemporary take on classic dining. Operating on an open-seating basis and served course-by-course at your table, the menus promise to please even the most discerning of diners. You can also take advantage of the nearby Discoveries Bar - the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink.
Azamara Pursuit also has two specialty restaurants. The first of these, Prime C, guarantees an upmarket steakhouse experience, with steak and seafood being freshly prepared to order. The second is Aqualina, which serves up incredible Italian-inspired cuisine and is a must for pizza and pasta lovers.
Other dining options on Azamara Pursuit include the Windows Cafe, which is open during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Boasting frequently changing menus as well as the option to dine outside should you wish, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a more informal option. There is also the Pool Grill for snacks and light bites as well as The Living Room, which is open throughout the day and serves teas, coffees, wine and tapas.
Facilities on Azamara Pursuit
One of the best things about Azamara Pursuit is that despite her relatively small size, she is packed with facilities. Perhaps the best is her Sanctum Spa, where you can enjoy a spot of pampering courtesy of the expert onboard team. She also has a cabaret lounge - which provides much of the evening entertainment - and a sports bar with big screen televisions.
