930Viking Mars joined the Viking Cruises fleet in spring 2022. Offering an elegant onboard experience for no more than 930-guests, Viking Mars will commence her service for Viking with a series of itineraries in Scandinavia and the Baltic.
Viking Mars Accommodation
Viking Mars offers a choice of accommodation, with three different categories of stateroom and three types of suites available. All of the grades boast a private veranda, large bathroom, spacious storage facilities, a television, king-size bed, mini-bar and WiFi.

Viking Mars Dining
There are a variety of dining options available on Viking Mars. The ship’s main venue, The Restaurant, is open for a buffet-style breakfast and for evening meals served course-by-course from either a regional tasting menu or a selection of alternative options.
For a different type of dining experience, The Chef’s Table offers a set menu that rotates every three days and showcases wine-paired cuisines from around the world, while Manfredi’s serves up an authentic taste of Italy, complete with an open kitchen and vibrant atmosphere.
Viking Mars also has a selection of venues where you can pick up light bites and snacks throughout the day. The Living Room, Wintergarden and a Norwegian deli called Mamsen’s will all help to stave off any pangs of hunger, while The World Cafe serves up fresh pasta, pizza, salads and bagels in a delightfully spacious environment, with alfresco dining available should the conditions permit.
All of these dining options on Viking Mars are included in the fare you pay at the time of booking, however, dining at The Kitchen Table, is available at an additional cost. This is perhaps the most interesting dining venue on the ship and could be described as a part-restaurant, part-shore excursion. Your experience begins with a trip ashore to source ingredients, before returning to the ship to prepare and cook your meal.

The facilities on Viking Mars are one of the main reasons the ship remains a popular choice with both new cruisers and seasoned travellers. Despite her small size, you will find everything you need onboard Viking Mars to enjoy a relaxing, enriching cruise experience.
From the grand theatre, two cinema screens and spacious 2-level Explorer’s Lounge, to the collection of boutique shops and lavish LivNordic spa facilities, Viking Mars promotes the finer things in life without ever appearing garish or overly decadent.
