Broadway At Sea with Regent Seven Seas

Broadway shows take to the ocean aboard Seven Seas Voyager

Onboard entertainment is a hugely important aspect of cruising and when it comes to a luxury voyage of course guests expect the best. That’s why Regent Seven Seas has been giving their onboard programme somewhat of a makeover and this year will debut no less than eight new production shows on Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Mariner. Mariner’s new shows shall debut when she returns from her refurbishment in the spring.

The below is just a small glimpse into the evening shows aboard Seven Seas Voyager and I think you will agree it is a rather impressive line-up. We must also mention that all production shows aboard are backed up by a nine-piece Regent Signature Orchestra.

Queen of creating production shows at sea, Jean Ann Ryan commented on the new shows saying “We’ve gone further than our previous shows, creating new components with a small element of danger to them. The shows are current, hip and Regent has made an even bigger commitment and investment to the onstage aerial apparatus and scenery!”

All stage shows are held in the Constellation Theatre which is perfectly tiered for unobstructed viewing. With that said let’s take a look at what you can expect right now from Voyager.

On Broadway

On Broadway is a show that is bound to get you singing and dancing in your seat. Presented by Jean Ann Ryan Productions, On Broadway is a collection of the biggest musicals currently lighting up the marquees in Times Square including: Mamma Mia, Rock of Ages, Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots, Cinderella, Memphis and the Book of Mormon. I suppose you could say the flavour of Broadway goes to sea!

Get Down Tonight

Get Down Tonight is a retro journey putting the hits of the 70’s on centre stage. Everyone loves a feel-good show and this one is certainly going to get you out of your seat and onto your feet so bring your dancing shoes!

The show features hits from the Bee Gees, Donna Summer, Patti LaBelle and even a flashback to some of the 70’s best loved TV shows. It will be a walk down memory lane and certainly a chance to re-live ones youth.

 Dancing In The Streets

A non-stop performance of show-stopping competition dancing that would rival the likes of Strictly Come Dancing. Voyager’s ballroom champions explode on the scene flanked by the hottest dancers at sea.

If you feel the need to dance in your seat then please do. We know it will be hard to resist the temptation to join in once you are right in the middle of this explosive show.
