Set sail aboard the world’s largest square-rigged sailing ship with Tradewind Voyages and enjoy a luxurious journey to iconic destinations throughout Europe, Arabia, Australia and the Indian Ocean.
Launching in Spring 2021, Tradewind Voyages is a new cruise line offering voyages aboard the 272-guest Golden Horizon. The 5-masted vessel follows in the tradition of the 19th and 20th century Tea Clippers and Cape Horners that sailed the world's oceans delivering precious cargo and other goods. Golden Horizon boasts Ice Class certification, three swimming pools and a water-sports marina equipped with a fleet of kayaks, wind-surfers and dinghies.
Many of Tradewind Voyages’ itineraries are planned to use prevailing winds to capitalise on Golden Horizon’s sailing credentials, so if you have ever wanted to experience a nature-fuelled luxury cruise, this unique operator is the ideal choice.

Tradewind Voyages: Life Onboard
Life onboard Tradewind Voyages’ Golden Horizon is relaxed and informal. There’s no need to dress up for dinner, nor do you have to leave the ship to join shore excursions should you prefer not to. Instead, you’re free to do as much - or as little - as you wish. For relaxation, Golden Horizon offers a variety of wellbeing facilities, while the dining options available are outstanding and cater to all dietary requirements. When night falls, you can choose to spend your time catching up with new friends in the premium beverage bar or take in a show from talented local performers.
Tradewind Voyages: Shore Excursions
The global nature of Golden Horizon’s itineraries means there are almost limitless opportunities to explore. During Tradewind Voyages’ season in Northern Europe, you can explore Russia’s cultural centre on a Grand Tour of St Petersburg, visit the Grand Circle in Reykjavik or head to Europe’s northernmost point, North Cape. On the Silk Route, see the Pyramids in Giza and go in search of wildlife in Sri Lanka’s Udawalawe National Park. Alternatively, choose to head Down Under with Tradewind Voyages and enjoy wine tasting in the Yarra Valley and in-depth explorations of Kangaroo Island.
