Silversea Unveils Overland Adventures For 2016 World Cruise
Silversea Cruises has unveiled a selection of overland adventures to complement its 2016 World Cruise aboard Silver Whisper.
Twenty carefully orchestrated optional land programmes will allow guests to witness spectacular natural wonders, from Australia's Great Barrier Reef to the magical scenery of Vietnam's Ha Long Bay; spot exotic wildlife, such as tigers and orangutans, in their natural habitats; discover the ancient cultures and inspirational landmarks of India, Arabia, and Israel; and fly to isolated regions to explore such legendary kingdoms as Bhutan and Kandy.
Silver Whisper will depart Fort Lauderdale on January 5, 2016, for her 115-day World Cruise. She will travel across six continents, visiting 51 ports of call in 31 countries, including Costa Rica, Peru, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, India, Oman, Egypt, Greece and Croatia.

Cloud Forest at Mashpi Lodge - 4 Days - Depart: Manta/Re-join Ship: Callao
Mashpi is a nature sanctuary 3,116 feet above sea level on the western slope of the Andes Mountains, in one of the world's most celebrated bioregions. It will delight the most avid nature lover with picturesque waterfalls, verdant hills, and a staggering 500 species of birds. Guests might spot monkeys and even pumas, which make their home in the reserve.
