A collection of new Silversea 2015 itineraries went on sale today and we wanted to be the first to tell you all about them.

The latest collection of voyages promises to live up to every expectation for those wishing to book a luxury cruise in 2015. The destination choice is virtually endless with regions including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Caribbean, Far-East and South America.

In all, Silversea’s 8 strong fleet will collectively visit all 7 continents on 276 voyages of which will include over 700 destinations, 71 of which will be NEW ports of call.

Silversea is one of the world’s finest cruise line’s and boasts an impressive fleet of beautiful cruise ships, each just as luxurious as the next. Silver Whisper, Silver Shadow, Silver Spirit, Silver Wind and Silver Cloud all feature in the 2015 collection and will offer guests some truly unforgettable voyages. These five classic ships shall offer a worldwide schedule of 174 voyages, visiting more than 400 destinations (384 ports) on 6 continents, including 21 new ports of call.

New ports of call for Silversea in 2015

The line's classic fleet, comprised of its five elegant ocean-going ships, will visit 21 new ports of call. In the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions, there will be inaugural calls in Huelva, San Antonio (Ibiza), and Alcúdia (Mallorca), Spain; Rethymnon (Crete) and Igoumenitsa, Greece; Santa Maria di Leuca, Italy; and Amasra, Turkey.

In Asia and the Pacific, new ports include Haikou, China; Hambantota, Sri Lanka; Bintulu, Malaysia; Savusavu, Fiji; Lifou Island, New Caledonia; and the Philippines' Bohol Island, Boracay Island, Busuanga Island, and Hundred Islands.

Africa and the Indian Ocean offer inaugural visits to Luanda, Angola and Mahajanga, Madagascar. And in the Americas, first-time calls include Norfolk, Virginia; Morehead City, North Carolina; and Falmouth, Jamaica.

If you are looking for something more adventurous and wish to release your inner explorer then Silver Galapagos, Silver Explorer and the brand new Silver Discoverer are the ships for you. Silversea Expedition vessels will sail to some of the world’s most remote regions in 2015, from the Galapagos Islands to the Asian Pacific. The three expedition vessels will offer a worldwide schedule of 102 voyages, visiting more than 500 destinations (456 ports) on 7 continents, including 50 new ports of call.

Silversea Expeditions 2015 - New itineraries

As Silver Discoverer explores Micronesia, Melanesia, Polynesia, the Russian Far East, Southeast Asia, New Zealand and Australia, including its magnificent Kimberley Coast, her guests will be introduced to dozens of exciting new destinations, such as the remote Phoenix Islands Protected Area in Kiribati, which includes Nikumaroro, the island some believe to be the final resting place of famed aviator Amelia Earhart.

After a year's absence, the exotic west coast of Africa is back on the schedule for Silver Explorer, joining the expedition ship's ever-popular cruises to Antarctica, South and Central America, the British Isles, Northern Canada, Greenland, and Arctic Norway. Among several adventurous new destinations for Silver Explorer is Congo's exotic Pointe Noire, renowned for its beautiful beaches and the spectacular red rock cliffs at Diosso Gorge.

And Silver Galapagos will again operate year-round voyages exploring the amazing Galápagos Islands.
