Jazz guitarists Marc Antoine and Paul Brown to join Silversea for “Music under the Stars” sailings
Silversea Cruises has announced that two of the world’s leading jazz guitarists, Marc Antoine and Paul Brown, will be performing onboard Silver Spirit on two special voyages in late 2013 as part of the luxury cruise line’s “Music under the Stars” entertainment programme.
Marc Antoine – who has previously worked with Celine Dion, Rod Steward and Cher – will perform on Silversea’s seven night sailing of the Mediterranean, departing from Rome on 2nd November 2013, while Paul Brown, who boasts an equally impressive recording history having collaborated with the likes of Luther Vandross, George Benson and Larry Carlton, will join Silver Spirit for the ship’s Caribbean voyage on 13th December 2013 from Fort Lauderdale.
Music under the Stars
Silversea’s unique “Music under the Stars” programme offers guests the opportunity to enjoy live music while relaxing in the elegant surroundings of the luxurious Silver Spirit, with performances being given both in the ship’s Show Lounge and pool deck.
Silversea’s General Manager for the UK and Ireland, Mike Bonner, commented:
“We’re excited and honoured to have these two renowned artists performing aboard our beautiful Silver Spirit…I know our guests will enjoy an extraordinary music experience”
To enhance the experience further, both guitarists will mingle with the ship’s guests during a sail-away cocktail party and each guest on both voyages will be given complimentary copies of the pair’s latest CD, signed by both artists.
