Seven Seas Navigator Enters Drydock

Regent Seven Seas’ Navigator cruise ship has now entered drydock with the aim of completely refurbishing the vessels top suites.

The ship’s refurbishment is scheduled to last a total of 2 weeks with Regent planning to refresh the ship’s Grand and Master Suites as well as build a brand new Italian-dining restaurant called Sette Mari.

Additional plans include the placement of illy coffeemakers in Concierge-level Suites and new teak furnishings on all of the ship’s balconies.

Regent Seven Seas' UK & Europe Managing Director, Graham Sadler believes that this enhancement program will guarantee greater onboard enjoyment for Regent’s guests:

“We continually look for ways to enhance and develop the Regent Seven Seas experience, from small touches to major renovations...whether our guests are taking a leisurely walk along the refreshed Pool Deck or enjoying a Porterhouse steak in the extended speciality restaurant, they will feel the subtle luxury and unparalleled comfort and enhancements throughout”.

The Seven Seas Navigator is a 490-guest capacity vessel that has been part of Regent’s fleet since 1999. She was a major plot device in the 2004 film ‘After The Sunset’ which starred Pierce Brosnan, Woody Harrelson and Salma Hayek.

Once the refurbishment has been completed, the Seven Seas Navigator will spend the rest of 2012 sailing to Alaska, Canada and New England and Central America.
