Regional Departures for Yachts of Seabourn
Yachts of Seabourn will be offering regional departures for fly cruises in their 2012 to 2013 brochure. This should help to support growth of cruises from the midlands, and Scotland.
It is often inconvenient for people who live in these areas to travel to London airports before setting off for their cruise holiday. The cruise line will be making many regional airports available for departures, making cruises more accessible to many people around the country.
Yachts of Seabourn are also launching their third new cruise ship in three years, the Seabourn Quest. The ship will be joining the fleet in June 2011 and will be launched in Barcelona. The celebration is thought to have a different feel to the naming celebrations of the Seabourn Sojourn this summer. It is also possible that there will be more than one Godmother to the new ship in 2011.
Yachts of Seabourn are hoping to be seen as more contemporary and are aiming to attract younger guests with their three newest cruise ships the Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest. The majority of Seabourns clientele are over 60 and retired and as they continue to sail time and time again with the luxury cruise line, Seabourn would also like to attract younger guests in their 40’s and 50’s.
