Regent Seven Seas Cruises Launches New Italian Restaurant

This summer, luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas celebrates their 20th anniversary season with the debut of their Italian restaurant, Sette Mari at La Veranda. The new restaurant will be available on all three of Regents luxury ships, offering guests authentic Italian specialities in a casual dining setting.

The popular breakfast and lunch venue La Veranda, will transform every evening into Sette Mari at La Veranda, translated from the Italian “Seven Seas.” Guests will be able to choose from an extensive menu of Italian antipasti and speciality dishes, paired with fine Italian wines. All dishes will be lovingly prepared by Regent's top chefs using fresh, gourmet ingredients.

Dining at Sette Mari will begin with a selection of antipasti where guests can sample savoury pastry stuffed with tomatoes and mozzarella, Parmesan cheese and marinated olives and veal meatballs. Furthermore, there will be an antipasti bar available throughout the evening for guests to sample from.

For the first course, guests can choose either the speciality of the day or from the authentic Italian menu which offers a range of traditional pasta dishes including Penne Rigate alla Bolognese, Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Lasagna al Forno and Gnocchi de Patate al Pesto.

A secondi piatti will also be available offering Cioppino, a traditional Italian seafood strew and delicacies such as lamb chops, veal chops and Mediterranean sea bass among other dishes.

Dessert will be a choice of the popular Tiramisu and many other delectable Italian sweets.

"After a full day ashore, guests can select appetizers and the house-made pasta on their own and be finished in as little as 45 minutes or enjoy a leisurely evening ordering specialties from the menu.” Stated Mark Conroy, the line’s president.

Sette Mari will be available for guests from May 30 onboard Seven Seas Navigator followed by Seven Seas Voyager on July 2 and Seven Seas Marina on July 13. The restaurant will be open for evening dining only; advance booking is not required.
