Re-live the Titanic Experience

A unique voyage has been announced by Azamara Club Cruises to honour the RMS Titanic on the 100th anniversary of her maiden voyage.
Azamara are working together with the Willtiger Corporation to recreate the Titanic Experience for guests onboard the cruise which will set sail on 9th April 2012. The cruise will start and finish in Boston and will cruise for ten days arriving at the location of the sunken RMS Titanic on the day of the anniversary.
Onboard the Azamara Journey there will be a programme of events that guests can take part in to explore the history of the Titanic and what passengers on the ship would have experienced. An expeditionary ship will be travelling alongside the Azamara Journey and will be using a remotely operated underwater vehicle to view live feeds of the 100 year old wreckage. Guests onboard the cruise will also be lucky enough to view this live footage.
Other events onboard will include presentations from prestigious maritime researchers, relatives of survivors and historians, a memorial service and dinners including dishes that would have been served on the original Titanic ship.
Guests can choose to take part in a number of shore excursions along the way, for example in Halifax, Nova Scotia, they will have the opportunity to visit the maritime museum and the Titanic cemeteries.
