Princess Cruises Announce 2013 Europe And Alaska Voyages

Princess Cruises has announced details of its 2013 Europe and Alaska sailings which feature the debut of the new ship Royal Princess based in the Mediterranean and the Grand Princess’ first Alaska season.

Princess has released a total of 60 European itineraries which will visit 125 destinations within the beautiful regions of Northern Europe, the Baltic and the Mediterranean. Seven of Princess’ youngest ships will be sailing the European voyages which includes the latest Royal Princess, sailing the popular 12-day Grand Mediterranean voyage from June and its second youngest ship Ruby Princess sailing a 12-day Greek Isles voyage and three 7-day Mediterranean Interludes.

The remaining seven Princess ships will be in Alaska sailing 5 itineraries and visiting 15 destinations. Princess will be sailing a total of 124 Alaska Cruises in 2013 and across the fleet, they will be offering more balcony staterooms than any other cruise line.

The Alaska itineraries includes a debut voyage by recently refurbished Grand Princess, sailing from San Francisco to Alaska and, two 7-day roundtrip voyages from Seattle onboard Star Princess and Golden Princess. Guests on Alaska voyages can also opt for a rail journey to Denali National Park where they will have the option to spend two-nights in the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge or Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge.

New voyages include:

Europe:

Iceland and Norway- A new 14-day voyage onboard Ocean Princess to less visited ports in Iceland and Norway.

Copenhagen Roundtrip- 14-day voyage onboard Ocean Princess and Crown Princess visiting Scandinavia and Russia with port calls in Klaipeda, Lithuania and Riga, Lativa.

Alaska:

Voyages of the Glaciers- 72 voyages from Vancouver to Whittier sailing between May 13 to September 18. Highlights include port calls in Ketchikan, Skagway and Juneau and a glacier viewing at Glacier Bay National Park.

Inside Passage- A total of 38 voyages starting on September 21 from Seattle. The seven-day voyage includes a scenic tour along Inside Passage and port calls in Ketchikan and Victoria, B.C.
