Jean- Michel Cousteau - World famous oceanographer and environmentalist

Sailing aboard The Gauguin in 2014: 12th March to the Society Islands & Tuamotus Marquesas; 14th June to Fiji & Australia; 30 th August to Fiji, Tonga, Cook & Society Islands; and 25th October to the Marquesas, Tuamotus & Society Islands. In addition to presenting lectures and videos of his work, he will accompany several dives from the ship.

Herbert Nitsch – Champion free diver and recognised master of the sport

Sailing on The Gauguin’s 14th June Fiji & Australia voyage and the 25th June 2014, Australia & Southeast Asia voyage, he will provide lectures and demonstrations.

Jean-Pierre Vigato - Chef Propriétaire of one of the finest restaurants in Paris, the two Michelin-starred Restaurant Apicius

This celebrated chef will be onboard The Gauguin’s 25th June Australia & Southeast Asia voyage and will provide culinary demonstrations featuring his gastronomic techniques.

Daniel Brown – Expert winemaker for the Napa Valley prestigious Silver Oak Cellars

Sailing aboard The Gauguin’s 3rd December Tuamotus and Society Islands sailing for a lecture and wine-tasting.

Jamie Lawrence - M ainstay of Hawaii’s music scene for more than 30 years

Lawrence will be aboard The Gauguin’s 4th January sailing to the Marquesas, Tuamotus and Society Islands and the 22nd November sailing to the Cook Islands and Society Islands.

Walter C Rodgers – Retired CNN Senior International Correspondent

This accomplished correspondent will recount highlights of his amazing career on The Gauguin’s 4th January sailing to the Marquesas, Tuamotus and Society Islands and the 25th January sailing to the Cook Islands and Society Islands.

Barry Wiss – Vice President of Trade Relations for the Trinchero Family Estate (one of the world’s leading producers of fine wines)

Wiss will offer seminars, Q&A sessions and a wine-tasting on the The Gauguin’s 15th February sailing to Tahiti and Society Islands.

Gerry and Rosie Wilson – Wilson Creek Winery and Vineyards

On The Gauguin’s 29th March sailing to Tahiti and Society Islands, these distinguished winery owners will provide a lecture, Q&A session, and wine-tasting.

Long Shadows Vintners - Founder, Allen Shoup, winery President, Dane Narbaitz and Director of winemaking and viticulture, Gilles Nicault

All three shall be aboard The Gauguin’s 26th April sailing to Tahiti and Society Islands for a lecture and wine-tasting seminar.

Caroline Boyle-Turner Art history professor who has lectured aboard The Gaugin for 13-years

Aboard for the 14th June sailing to Fiji & Australia; the 25th June sailing to Australia and Southeast Asia; and the 4 th August sailing to Southeast Asia and Australia. An acclaimed expert on Paul Gauguin and his circle of artists, she enriches the appreciation of The Gauguin’s namesake.

Diane Moore , President of Paul Gauguin Cruises, will host a special cocktail party and “town hall” meeting for guests on The Moana’s 3rd May Rome to Venice sailing. Richard Bailey, Chairman of Paul Gauguin Cruises, will host the 31st May Athens to Istanbul voyage aboard The Moana and the 4th August Southeast Asia & Australia voyage aboard The Gauguin. Moore and Bailey will co-host the 10th September Reunion Cruise for past guests on The Gauguin, showcasing a specially-designed Society Islands & Tuamotus itinerary and a variety of special events.
