PONANT Antarctic Cruises For Winter 2017/18 On Sale Now
PONANT has opened sales for its winter 2017/18 voyages to the Antarctic and in addition to its iconic itineraries that feature every year in the company’s portfolio, the cruise line is also offering two very special voyages: “Beyond the Polar Circle” and “Antarctica to Africa”.
Exploring extreme parts of the world while enjoying a five-star service unique to the polar regions is the concept created by PONANT that has become its hallmark and from November to January 2018, guests can do just that on PONANT’s 11 outstanding cruises, including two unusual routes seeking out wildlife not found anywhere else in the world in their natural habitat.
Aboard Le Boréal, Le Soléal and Le Lyrial, 122 to 132 luxurious staterooms and suites await, along with a selection of public lounges, swimming pools, the Yacht Spa and various dining options.
Each vessel also sports the International Green Ship label and is designed specifically for polar voyages where guests have access to strictly protected locations only accessible to smaller cruise ships.
The emphasis is on total flexibility, with zodiac outings taking guests as close to wildlife as physically possible, with time to linger in iconic sites, make a detour to admire the acrobatics of a humpback whale, or land on a beach to greet a vast colony of penguins.
These cruises offer unique moments enlightened by the expertise of renowned South Pole specialists, who share their passion and expertise on the polar lands they have been roaming for years.
