P&O Double Their Ex-UK Winter Sailings For 2012/13

P&O Cruises has doubled their ex-UK winter sailings for 20/13 as Oriana joins Oceana to offer sailings departing from Southampton. Cruises will range from 2-35 nights and will visit Europe and the Mediterranean.

It will be Oriana’s first year to offer ex-UK winter cruises. Voyages will include a 10 night Baltic cruise in December visiting Christmas markets in Copenhagen and Hamburg and a warmer voyage in late January, 12 nights Canary Islands cruise calling at ports in Tenerife, Casablanca and Gran Canaria.

Oceana will be offering two short cruises over Christmas and the New Year. Christmas Cruise passengers will spend Boxing Day in Copenhagen and New Year’s passengers will enjoy New Years Eve in Amsterdam for what promises to be an authentic festive celebration.

P&O will now be offering a total of 39 roundtrips from Southampton between October and April. P&O Cruise’s managing director Carol Marlow who announced the changes stated;

“...A growing number of people are keen to holiday in the winter, but don’t necessarily want to fly, so this additional range of cruises from Southampton will increase their options sill further. Convenience is a key booking factor for our passengers, with travelling to Southampton so easy – and then their holiday starts right away."

The voyages announced will be in addition to the four cruises already departing from Southampton between January and April 2013 including Azura’s maiden world cruise departing on 7th January 2013.
