Oceania’s Insignia To Return in 2014
Cruise ship to rejoin fleet for 2014 summer season
Oceania Cruises has announced that their 684 guest capacity vessel, Insignia, will return to their fleet having spent the previous two years on a charter assignment.
For the past two years, Insignia has been chartered by German cruise line Hapag-Lloyd who renamed her Columbus 2. However, with Hapag set to introduce Europa 2 to their fleet later this year, Insignia will return to join Oceania’s other ships - Riviera, Marina, Regatta, and Nautica – in time for the summer 2014 season.
Insignia will recommence her service with a season of Mediterranean sailings in May 2014 before being repositioned to offer cruises of New England and Canada from New York later in the year.
The luxury cruise line, famed for their “country club-style” onboard atmosphere, recently launched their 2014 Summer Collection, which features over 80 sailings to destinations throughout Europe, Alaska, South America and Canada.
