Oceania Riviera Boasts Onboard Style And Elegance
Oceania Cruise’s latest ship Riviera launches in May, featuring stylish design features and elegant furnishings.
The new Riviera, sister ship to the beautiful Marina, offers Oceania’s signature blend of country club atmosphere and the elegant surroundings of a private yacht in additional to two new design features and specially designed furnishings. The ships two main features, visible the moment guests step aboard, is a specially designed Lalique Grand Staircase and a custom-made Italian chandelier adorned by 380 crystal spheres.
The ships exquisite staircase is the main focal point of the ship. Designed by French glass company Lalique, the stairway features double-curved staircases and a balcony fashioned with banisters of scrolled iron and crystal medallions.
The Italian-crafted chandelier, weighing 1,300 pounds and measuring 78 inches high, is displayed above the staircase and casts a radiant glow, illuminating the reception area and welcoming arriving guests.
Rivera features 652 spacious suites and staterooms all offering comfortable and modern surroundings. Both the Vista and Oceania suites include exquisite pieces of furniture and lighting designed by top American furniture designer Dakota Jackson. The three Owner’s Suites measure at 2,000 square feet and feature furnishings by the distinguished Ralph Lauren Home collection.
Although Riviera's elegant design is the same as Marina, it will offer several distinct design details, including a new thalassotherapy pool in the Canyon Ranch Spa Club and raised ceilings in the Polo Grill and Toscana restaurant.
The ship will also be exhibit over 100 contemporary art works by some of Latin America’s most admired and accomplished modern artists. The collection includes original and highly expressive works of art by artists such as José Grillo and Carlos Luna.
