Oceania Cruises: Signature Spa Experience for Marina

With Oceania’s Marina due to start sailing in January 2011, the cruise line have announced that the Canyon Ranch SpaClub onboard will be offering many signature spa experiences. The spa onboard the ship will provide over fifty different spa treatments and stretch over 10,000 square feet.

Within the spa, guests will benefit from a whole range of therapy rooms and facilities including a thermal suite, thalassotherapy pool and fitness centre. Guests will also be able to enjoy nutritious Spa Cuisine menu choices in the Grand Dining Room and the Terrace Cafe.

Treatments on offer will include:

· Ageless Oxygen Boost, a facial lasting 50 minutes using a rejuvenating cocktail of botanicals, vitamins, antioxidants and hydrators infused with a pressurised oxygen system.

· Canyon Stone Massage, a massage using gently heated basalt stones and essential oils this peaceful experience will relax even the tightest muscles.

· Organic Seaweed Body Wrap, hand-harvested seaweed is used to firm, soften and detoxify the skin.

Each of the signature spa treatments will be customised for the individual guests needs and will compliment their experience onboard the Marina.

The fitness centre will also be fitted with state of the art equipment including a Kinesis Wall, providing a range of natural movements to improve flexibility, strength and balance. A variety of classes will be on offer each day lead by Canyon Ranch fitness experts, instructors will also give assessments in nutrition and fitness within private sessions, working out a personalised plan for the individual guest.

The thalassotherapy pool, located on a private sundeck, features airbed recliner lounges, deluge waterfall, neck fountains, massage jets and an air tub. The combination of salt water and massage allows guests to relax and feel the therapeutic benefits.

The new Oceania ship will hold up to 1,250 guests and will set sail on its maiden voyage on the 22nd January 2011. The Marina will also feature a selection of lounges, bars and restaurants where guests will enjoy delicious gourmet cuisine and outstanding service.
