Its main town, Port Louis, is etched with traces of it’s colonial past not only in it’s museums but in the architecture of many of its buildings, such as the Port Louis Theatre. Head to the north of the Mauritius and you will find the nightclubs, restaurants and bars at Grand Bay often in full swing. A popular haunt of the island’s natives, Grand Bay offers a different, more tourist-centric proposition than some of the more rural parts of Mauritius.
