The sister ship of MS Maud, MS Trollfjord was built in 2002 and offers passengers the chance to experience some of Norway’s most enchanting views as well as the chance to see the stunning Northern Lights. Onboard, you will find the MS Trollfjord is comfortable and relaxing, boasting first class customer service and a high standard of dining options.

MS Trollfjord offers space aboard for 822 passengers and she is named after the famous Trollfjord, situated between the Vesteralen and the Lofoten Islands. Trollfjord is one of the highlights of the voyage south, and is famous locally for “The battle of the Trollfjord” which took place there in the winter of 1890.

MS Trollfjord Entertainment

One of the great things about a Hurtigruten cruise is the opportunity to explore and learn about your chosen sailing in depth and as Hurtigruten themselves claim ‘Mother Nature provides the entertainment’. As such, your time onboard will be more about relaxing and enjoying the views rather than dancing the night away to the early hours. Arctic Superior

Relaxation and comfort are the hallmarks of Hurtigruten’s Arctic superior cabins. There are just four Arctic Superior YA cabins onboard and they are all located on deck 6. They have one bed, one sofa bed, table, kettle and TV. These cabins are adapted for guests with disabilities. Arctic Superior YA cabins are 16m2.

Polar Outside

Trollfjord’s Polar Outside O cabins are located on decks 4 and 6. They sleep up to two people and all cabins have bathrooms with shower/WC, along with separate beds (one of which is a sofa bed). Polar Outside O cabins are between 10-12m2.

Polar Outside

Trollfjord’s Polar Outside L cabins are located on decks 3 and 4. They sleep up to two people and all cabins have bathrooms with shower/WC, along with separate beds (one of which is a sofa bed). Some cabins come with upper and lower berths. Polar Outside L cabins have portholes, some with limited or no view. These cabins are between 10-11m2.

Trollfjord’s Polar Outside N cabins are located on deck 4 and sleep up to two people. All cabins have bathrooms with shower/WC along with separate beds (one of which is a sofa bed). Polar Outside N cabins are between 11-12m2.

Arctic Superior

Relaxation and comfort are the hallmarks of Hurtigruten’s Arctic superior cabins. Arctic Superior P cabins are for up to two people and are located on deck 6. They have separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa and they also have a kettle. Arctic Superior P cabins are between 10-11m2.

Arctic Superior

Relaxation and comfort are the hallmarks of Hurtigruten’s Arctic superior cabins. There’re two Arctic Superior QJ cabins on board the MS Trollfjord, and they are located on decks 6 and 7. They have separate beds, seating area, TV, kettle and mini-bar. Please note these cabins have limited/no view. Arctic Superior QJ cabins are between 16-17m2.

Polar Inside

Trollfjord’s Polar Insides cabins are located on decks 4, 5, 6 and 7. All cabins have bathrooms with shower/WC. Inside your cabin you will have separate beds (one of which is a sofa bed) or upper and lower berths. I2 cabins will sleep up to two people and the I4 cabin sleeps up to four people. All cabins all have individual specifications. I Insides cabins are between 9-15m2

Polar Outside

Polar Outside J cabins are for up to three people on decks 6 and 7. They have separate beds, one of which converts into a sofa. The third bed is an upper berth. The cabins have limited or no view.These cabins are between 11-12m2.

Expedition Mini Suite

Q Mini Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. They have double beds and most have sofa groups as well. Q MiniSuites also have a TV, kettle, tea/coffee, internet access and a minibar. Guests will also enjoy an exciting welcome gift on their arrival. QMini Suites are between 16-24m2

Expedition Suite

The elegant MSuites are located on the upper deck have one or two rooms, a seating area, TV, kettle, tea/coffee and minibar. Most have a private balcony.Guests will also enjoy an exciting welcome gift on their arrival. M Suites are between 23-24m2

Expedition Grand Suite

Suites are the most luxurious cabins on board MS Trollfjord. Grand Suites (MG)are located on the upper deck have one or two rooms, a seating area, TV, kettle, tea/coffee, stereo, internet access and minibar. Some of suites also have a bathtub. Most of the suites have bay windows and a few have private balconies.Guests will also enjoy an exciting welcome gift on their arrival.MG Grand Suites are between 35-37m2

Expedition Owner’s Suite

Suites are the most luxurious cabins on board MS Trollfjord. The MX Owner’sSuites are situated on the upper decks and have two rooms, a seating area, TV, Kettle, tea/coffee, stereo, internet access, minibar and private balcony. An exciting welcome gift awaits all suite guests on their arrival.MX Suites are between 43-45m2.

Arctic Superior

Relaxation and comfort are the hallmarks of Hurtigruten’s Arctic superior cabins. Arctic Superior U cabins are for up to two people and are located on decks 7 and 8. They have separate beds, one of which doubles as a sofa. A very limited number have double beds and tables, kettle and a fridge. Arctic Superior U cabins are between 10-14m2.
