Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ MS Bremen is a 155-guest ship that operates expedition-style voyage in remote regions including Australiasia, Antarctica and the Americas.
Since joining the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleet in 1993, MS Bremen has become a firm favourite with those seeking adventure aboard a four-star boutique-style ship. MS Bremen is purpose-built for cruising polar waters and carries a fleet of twelve Zodiacs which can be deployed up to twice daily, weather permitting.
MS Bremen Accommodation
There are two categories of accommodation on MS Bremen; Outside Cabins and Suites. The 80 Outside Cabins offer ocean-views via either porthole or panoramic windows and can sleep up to 3 guests. At 193 sq.ft, the Outside Cabins are reasonably spacious and equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable cruise experience, including a private bathroom (with a shower), an entertainment system and a mini-bar.
MS Bremen’s two Suites are larger (258.sq.ft) and boast a private balcony as well as a roomy seating area. Unlike the Outside Cabins, the Suites MS Bremen also have a bathtub with an integrated shower.
MS Bremen Dining
There are two dining venues on MS Bremen. The ship’s main restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves up delicious international cuisine on an open-seating basis. The décor is the main restaurant consists of pastel colours and light woods, while a series of large picture windows provide ocean views.
The second restaurant, called the Bremen Club, is more informal and provides buffet-style dining during lunch and dinner.
MS Bremen Entertainment & Facilities
The entertainment on MS Bremen is fairly low-key and generally focuses on giving you the chance to learn more about the region you are exploring, courtesy of presentations given by Hapag’s Expedition Team. For relaxation, there is a fantastic onboard library which you are free to use throughout your cruise, while ship’s health and wellness facilities consist of a fitness room, a sauna and a heated pool.
In the evening, most guests head to the Bremen Club for a nightcap before grabbing an early night ahead of the next days’ adventures.
