Slovenia is located at the top of the Adriatic Sea, though the country has a very small coastline only stretching 47 Km. It is situated in central Europe with Italy to the west and Croatia to the east, the country is small but has a lot to offer.
The majority of Slovenia’s terrain is hilly and mountainous, though as it reaches the borders of Croatia and Hungary the land becomes much flatter. As you explore Slovenia you will see many historic castles, gothic churches and along the coast you will find numerous sandy beaches.
