EUROPA 2 New 2015/16 Cruise Season Brochure
Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has released the new EUROPA 2 2015/16 cruise season brochure, which features new routes to Africa and several new ports of call.
EUROPA 2 joined the Hapag-Lloyd fleet in May of 2013 and has since travelled a total of 70,000 nautical miles. Since her launch 30,000 bottles of champagne have been consumed, she has gained a 97% recommendation rate and was awarded 5-stars-plus by the Berlitz Cruise Guide. These are just some of her highlights and her new 2015/16 season shall bring more highlights including new ports, entirely new African itineraries and the re-naming of two suite types.
In December 2015 and January 2016, EUROPA 2 will sail five cruises to East and South Africa, these itineraries shall include ports such as Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Walvis Bay and Durban. The ship will also call at the beautiful island of Mauritius, where guests can enjoy tropical sun-soaked beaches.
EUROPA 2 will also call at several new and exciting ports including Riga in northern Europe, Port Grimaud and Piran in the Mediterranean and Bali in Indonesia.
Two types of suite have also been renamed. The 5560 sq. ft. Spa Suites are now known as "Grand Ocean Suites". In this category, there will no longer be the privilege of a personal butler. The Grand Suites on decks 8 and 10 will be renamed as "Penthouse Suites" to reflect their location on the upper decks.
With accommodations aboard for just 500 guests, the EUROPA 2 provides the greatest space per passenger on a cruise ship anywhere in the world. The ship features seven restaurants and six bars, all dedicated to serving up culinary diversity, and a large spa and fitness area along with outdoor swimming pool and whirlpools.
