Disney Cruise Line to take January delivery of new ship

In January 2011 Disney Cruise Line will taking delivering of the newest addition to their fleet, the 128,000 ton Disney Dream. The Disney Dream will be joining the 2 existing ships, Magic and Wonder, and will be followed in early 2012 by Fantasy.

Disney believe that Dream is one step ahead of the competition in terms of new features and technology, with Senior Vice President Tom Wolber stating "The Dream is so full of new, innovative features, and a handful are industry firsts...if you start and look at what we did with the Magic and Wonder, we have kept all of that and carried it over".

Dream will include a number of new innovative additions, including the Skyline; an elegant cocktail bar surrounded by video screens projecting city-scape views of major cities around the world, with Wolber commenting "We're introducing five cities, a different one each night and the beverage offerings will change to reflect the cities we are visiting. During the day there is a daytime scene."
