Crystal Serenity 2017 World Cruise Segments

Crystal Cruises’ 2017 World Cruise offers one of the line’s most comprehensive itineraries to date featuring six segments ranging from ten to 23 nights and each featuring at least one overnight stay.

Focused on the metropolitan cities, quaint villages, less-visited islands and up-and-coming destinations of South America and the Caribbean plus the first World Cruise visit to Antarctica in 10 years.

Crystal Serenity World Cruise Segments

Mystique of the Maya - 11th January 2017 (11 nights) – from Miami to Colón, Panama, the cruise explores the many ancient Mayan ruins sites in ports along Mexico’s coast, plus the extraordinary coral reefs of Honduras and jungles of Costa Rica.

Incan Influences - 23rd January 2017 (20 nights) – after an overnight in Colón, Panama to explore the bustling town surrounding the famed canal, the ship transits through the locks en route to Ecuador – rich in lush forest and world-class seafood – then on to several Peruvian ports (including two maiden calls) and concluding with four days in Chile highlighted by a three-night inclusive exploration of Machu Picchu.

Antarctic Adventure - 8th February 2017 (23 nights) – the epic adventure begins even before boarding the ship with an inclusive pre-cruise three-night Extended Land Programme to Machu Picchu; then continues as the voyage embarks on 11 nights exploring Chile and Argentina, before cruising Cape Horn, Antarctica and the Falkland Islands then returning to Uruguay and Argentina.

Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro - 3rd March 2017 (11 nights) – rich history and tradition blend beautifully with modern nightlife and world-famous beach culture as the sailing visits Argentina and Uruguay, plus seven nights in Brazil, with overnight stays in Buenos Aires, Buzios and Rio de Janeiro to maximise the renowned social and culinary scenes after dark. The journey begins with an inclusive two-night, pre-cruise Extended Land Programme that affords close-up encounters with Iguazú Falls.

Rio de Janeiro to Barbados - 14th March 2017 (22 nights) – the intensive Brazilian itinerary also begins with an inclusive two-night, pre-cruise Extended Land Programme that affords close-up encounters with Iguazú Falls, and features a whopping 16 nights amidst Brazil’s magnificent architecture, winding waterways and bridges, cosmopolitan hubs and breathtaking monuments. Calls to Devil’s Island, Granada and Barbados lend some Caribbean flair to the sailing.

Barbados to Miami - 5th April 2017 (10 nights) – the final segment of the full World Cruise departs Barbados after an overnight stay, then sails through the brilliant waters between Caribbean gems such as St. Lucia, Martinique, St. Barts, Samaná, Grand Turk and Key West, before concluding on the glamorous shores of Miami.
