Crystal Cruises Win Award For 'Best Large Ship Cruise Line'
Crystal Cruises, Seabourn and Viking River Cruises all recently picked up awards at the 17th annual Travel + Leisure Awards.
Crystal Cruises picked up the award for ‘Best Large Ship Cruise Line’, whilst Seabourn and Viking River Cruises won ‘Best Mall Ship Cruise Line’ and ‘Best River Cruise Line’, respectively. It was the 17th time that Crystal Cruises has won the award and sees them claim ‘Hall of Fame’ status.
Upon receiving the award, Crystal Cruises’ president, Gregg Michel, said “We have delighted travellers this year with newly designed spaces, new services, and new value-conscious pricing; we have offered a consistency of experience that is unmatched in our industry”.
The luxury cruise line has spent over $100 million renovating both the Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony in the past 5 years.
The Travel + Leisure ‘World’s Best Awards’ have been running for 17 years and reward a number of operators across various sectors in the travel industry. The winner of each category is decided by a voting system open to the readers of Travel + Leisure Magazine. Other non-cruise related categories include awards for the best Safari operator and best international airline.
