First, you will drive through the old town of Bernkastel where you will see the landmark of the city, the church tower. It was originally built around 1300 AC as a defense tower as well as the ˜doctor's fountain˜ which tells the legend of the famous Doctor of Bernkastel on its splendid bronze relief's. You will continue your ride into the vineyards to a lookout, which offers a magnificent view onto the city. On the return you will pass the Cusano birthplace and the romantic market place. The Moselle railroad ends near the pier of the KATHARINA VON BORA.
