2010 Azura Preview Programme Release

Taking her place in P&O Cruises rich history, Azura will join the fleet in April 2010; a new chapter ready to unfold. She will have her own atmosphere and feel and, just as her name conjures up images of the deep blue ocean, she will embody the thrill and romance of cruise travel. Azura will embark on 26 voyages in her maiden programme.

In spring through to autumn 2010 she will be sailing a 16 night Central Mediterranean itinerary (repeated seven times); a 14 night Baltic itinerary (repeated twice); a Canary Island itinerary (repeated three times); two 7 night Cruise Breaks – one to the Norwegian Fjords (sailing once) and one southern Europe Cruise Break (repeated twice); and a 3 night cruise (sailing once).

Azura's winter programme runs from 29 October 2010 to 1 April 2011 and is comprised of a 15 night Caribbean fly-cruise (repeated 7 times), which is top and tailed by repositioning (transatlantic) voyages. In addition she embarks on a one off Christmas and New Year itinerary which presents passengers with a unique opportunity to explore new areas of the Caribbean. The 29 night holiday consists of a 28 night cruise and overnight flight to the UK.

Programme highlights include her Maiden Cruise, which is a 16 night classic Mediterranean cruise including a call into Venice, her two day call in St. Petersburg on her Baltic itinerary and her 29 night Christmas and New Year Caribbean cruise, which calls into Port Canaveral for tours to Orlando, Port Everglades for tours to Miami and spends two days in New Orleans.

The Tate Talks programme run by Tate Britain can be enjoyed on selected departures.

This programme will go on sale on Saturday 28th March for Gold Tier members only and will go on general sale Monday 30th March.
