The 77,000-ton Sea Princess is a Sun-class (Dawn Princess, Sun Princess) ship. Sea Princess was built in 1998 and sailed for Princess Cruises to May 2003, when she was transferred to P&O Cruises and renamed Adonia. She will return to Princess Cruises and again sail as the Sea Princess in spring, 2005

A member of Princess' Grand Class fleet, Sea Princess redefines the cruise vacation by offering passengers freedom from traditional cruising regimentation, creating a "what you want, when you want" atmosphere of onboard choice and flexibility. Multiple dining and entertainment options include such features as a 24-hour restaurant, authentic pizzerias, a wine and caviar bar, two main showrooms, a computerized golf center, an ocean-view fitness center, separate children's and teen's centers, and four lavish pools. Providing "big ship choice, small ship feel," Sea Princess also includes 410 balcony cabins, where passengers can take advantage of the vessel's 24-hour room service while enjoying the scenery from their Caribbean or Alaskan cruise.

Step into the Grand Plaza atrium with gleaming marble floor and brass staircases and you'll know these four elegant sister ships will be a classy cruise experience. A refined atmosphere without being staid, the tempo can be as upbeat as you like yet intimate enough for romance. With a high ratio of passengers to space and superb design, there are no lines or crowds. The layout of public rooms is superb, with the majority located on Promenade Deck. At the same time, these ships are too large to present many opportunities for meeting other passengers, except your tablemates at dinner. In the Caribbean, you'll find terrific watersports programs available. All four ships cruise Alaska during the summer, where Princess steals the show with its outstanding pre- and post-cruise land tours which include stays in the cruise lines private lodges at Kenai and Mt. McKinley.

Decor:
These are our picks for four of the most beautiful ships afloat. Sophisticated and elegant, the Princess ships are each adorned with a $2 million art collection that enriches the pale beech paneling, soft lighting and enormous windows with ocean views.
