Independence of the Seas is set to become the third in Royal Caribbean’s spectacular Freedom class of ships. Upon her May 2008 debut in the United Kingdom, she will be the largest ship ever to be home-ported in Europe. Guests across the globe will have access to the same amazing onboard innovations offered by our other Freedom-family ships, as well as a variety of exciting European itineraries to choose from.

Royal Caribbean's new Independence of the Seas takes ship design to the edge and beyond, offering a top-deck aqua environment unparalleled in the industry, including an interactive family water park, cantilevered whirlpools and a dedicated sports pool. There is also an adult’s only solarium with jungle themed interior and a cascading waterfall. Freedom of the Seas features one of the largest rock climbing walls at sea, an indoor ice skating rink, a miniature golf course and even a jogging track! - one thing is for sure there is plenty to do onboard, and something for everyone!

There is a huge variety of dining options, and in the evenings, fantastic entertainment options including shows at the theatre, ice shows, dancing at the night-time disco on the top deck, Karaoke at the On Air Club, and gaming in the casino. There are also many bars in which to catch a romantic moment or share your daily experiences with fellow guests.
