Peter Deilmann Cruises Announces South America and Antarctic Itineraries for 2009/10

Peter Deilmann's new Ocean Cruising brochure for 2009/10, Grand Hotel Voyages, was launched at the end of July, with an extended programme of exciting cruises to over 52 countries and 180 ports of call on MS Deutschland, the line's 520 guest, five star luxury Ocean-Going flagship.

MS Deutschland's 2009/10 programme starts in the Mediterranean during the spring, before moving to Northern Europe including the Baltic, Greenland and the Norwegian Fjords during the summer of 2009.  MS Deutschland then crosses the Atlantic for an autumn season in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. The winter sees her cruise in South America and Antarctica including a voyage which takes this delightful ship around Cape Horn. In early 2010 there will be two cruises which take guests into the heart of the Amazon rainforest with stops at Manaus in Brazil.

In all there are 27 different itineraries, many with overnight stays in exciting cities such as New York, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and St. Petersburg. Itineraries range from sampler cruises of three nights' duration to 23 night "grand voyages" such as the Land of the Midnight Sun which allows guests to explore the coast of Greenland from the five star comfort of this fine ocean liner. Fares start from £499 per person for the Hamburg sampler cruise and range up to £15,185 for the 23 night Greenland and Iceland cruise. For all voyages there is currently an additional £8.00 per person per day fuel surcharge.

As well as exciting destinations, MS Deutschland also offers themed cruises for enthusiasts of golf, gardening, hiking and all things equestrian. For a supplement, guests can enjoy planned additional activities throughout dedicated cruises, led by leading experts. In addition, on certain cruises throughout the year, dialysis facilities will also be available, allowing patients and their families to experience a luxury holiday without compromising their treatment. Full details on the themed voyages and facilities for dialysis patients can be found on the Peter Deilmann Cruises web site at www.deilmann.co.uk.

The new brochure builds on the success of the first year of "cruise-only" fares offering flexibility and value for the growing number of guests who wish to tailor-make their travel arrangements before and after their cruise. For those guests who prefer a complete holiday solution, The Cruise Line's reservations team can tailor make your entire holiday including flights, rail connections, transfers as well as pre and post cruise hotel accommodation.

In addition, to reward past guests for their loyalty and to encourage future bookings on both MS Deutschland and the Company's fleet of eight, five star river cruise ships, a new past guest loyalty saving of 3% off the published brochure fare has also been introduced.

Commenting on the release of the new brochure, Stuart Perl, Managing Director, Peter Deilmann Cruises, said: "The new 2009/10 brochure has some truly magical destinations, many of which are only accessible to a small and intimate ship such as MS Deutschland. We are delighted to be offering 180 different ports of call, in over 50 countries in this new brochure including a welcome return to the Americas and new stops in Antarctica. This is a fantastic opportunity for guests to discover European, five star luxury cruising at its best".
