Action Ashore choices increased for summer itineraries

New for its 2006 Mediterranean season, which begins 9^th May, Ocean Village is offering its customers the chance to become speed freaks and live out their F1 dreams with a tour of the legendary Grand Prix course at Circuit De Catalunya in Montmelo, Barcelona. The Formula One Pit Stop Action Ashore option allows speed demons to follow in the footsteps of Formula One greats with a tour of the stadium, VIP boxes, press rooms and the winners podium itself - you can almost see yourself popping that champagne!

The trip includes a lap of the celebrated circuit followed by a three course buffet lunch, before passengers transfer to a local outdoor go-karting track to further live out their Formula One fantasies. After a few warm up laps, the competition starts with each passenger competing on a four cylinder, 270cc go kart, in a series of knock out rounds with podium places for the winners!

New for the Med 2006, Ocean Village also introduces new onshore options in Ajaccio, Corsica. Take the plunge with kayaking adventures along the Ruppione Beach coastline or, for the real dare-devils, there&s the adrenaline-pumping Aerial Adventure& which suspends passengers high above the Corsican landscape, swinging through the tree-tops on zip wires!Ajaccio is a brand new addition to Ocean Village&s Casbahs and Chianti& itinerary for 2006.

Hard core shoppers are in for a treat with the new Mission to Milan& trip from Genoa, which allows them a full 5 hours worth of super-stylish retail therapy.Bargain-hunters can also join the Souk Shopping Spree& in Tunis - hagglers& heaven!
