Cleveland Clinic Experts Set for 2007 on Crystal Cruises

An impressive dossier of distinguished specialists in various fields of health and wellness from the renowned Cleveland Clinic will set sail on eight worldwide cruises with Crystal Cruises in 2007. As part of the luxury line's Creative Learning Institute enrichment program, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of complimentary interactive classes and workshops led by top physicians from one of the country's most prestigious medical centers. From learning about how to manage headaches and arthritis (while traveling through Northern Europe) to tips for a healthier golf game (aboard a Trans-Ocean crossing), approximately three classes will be scheduled on each cruise.

Crystal Cruises also provides a "Travel Tips from the Cleveland Clinic" section on its website at www.crystalcruises.com under "Before You Sail," which offers tips from the Cleveland Clinic on "Food and Water Considerations While Traveling," "Immunization Considerations When Traveling Abroad," "Overcoming Jet Lag," and "Traveling with Asthma."

"Crystal's guests are educated and informed and they want to enrich themselves on vacation. They also want to know that they are learning from credible professionals who will share cutting edge research," says Kristin Turner, Crystal Cruises' manager of entertainment who oversees the program. "The Cleveland Clinic is one of the most respected hospitals in the world. It's no surprise that the feedback on these programs has been exceptional."

Since 2003, Crystal has been providing creatively innovative enrichment programming designed to enhance guests' quality of life and personal growth through its partnership with such esteemed institutions as the Cleveland Clinic. The 2007 voyages aboard Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity promise to be no exception as the luxury line continues its quality alliance with notable doctors from various Cleveland Clinic departments.

Complementing Creative Learning Institute classes are ongoing health, fitness and wellness opportunities. From daily exercise classes (including yoga) and personal training sessions in the state-of-the-art gym, to the Feng Shui-inspired Crystal Spa, the setting is ideal for building strength and finding balance. Crystal Cruises' exclusive Walk-on-Water program features the WALKVEST ® Training System, which revolutionizes walking simply by adding resistance (added weight) to your walk. Fresh fruit, fresh fish, creative salads, low-calorie and low-carb meals are also readily available throughout the ships.
