Royal Princess commenced service for Princess Cruises in 2014 and was christened by The Duchess of Cambridge during a naming ceremony in Southampton.

The Cruise Ship TV Programme
As well as being one of the world's most popular cruise ships, Royal Princess was also the star of ITV's fly-on-the-wall documentary series 'The Cruise Ship'. The show aired in 2014 and followed a five week production process during which time the camera crew followed and filmed the ship's crew and guests.
Royal Princess Accommodation
There are five main types of accommodation onboard Royal Princess, ranging from the comfortable Interior Staterooms to the lavish Grand Suite. All accommodation grades feature wall-mounted tv sets, comfortable bed and bathrooms equipped with flexi-hose shower units. Tastefully decorated, all cabin grades receive a daily turndown service, while bathrobes are available on request.
Royal Princess Dining
Royal Princess houses three formal dining venues; Allegro, Concerto and Sympathy which serve a variety of regionally-influenced dishes that have been prepared with fresh ingredients by the ship's highly-trained chefs.
Other venues include the Italian restaurant Sabatini's, and Alfredo's, a sit-down pizzeria. Those looking for a more informal option should head to the Horizon Court, which seats over 1100 guests.
