Wind Surf

The Wind Surf is three times bigger than his sisters the Wind Spirit and the Wind Star, the ship's 5 sails are 67.5 meters high, its surface has more than 2400 meter/square and the total cabin crew is over 160 members. This sailing vessel has a fitness/spa and a library.

There is a 3 price range to choose from between the newly added 31 suites with double bathrooms and a private dining/lounge area, the 150 cabins with an outside view and the majestic 2 suites with incorporated jacuzzi bathtub, the décor is warm with inviting bright colors to help you rest and enjoy spent time within the rooms, these come with a rotating TV, CD player and video player.

The American new cuisine is served every evening only at the dining room of the Wind Surf, it has more than 270 seatings for two, four, six or eight. There is also the Veranda with an open deck and self service buffets or the 124 seats Bistro where reservation is obligatory and where the food is mainly international savories delightfully presented.

The activities on the ship include a lot of water sports like windsurfing, inflatable zodiac motor boats for water-skiing, scuba-diving and the off shore excursions are a plus on the Wind Surf since the boat sails overnight and spends the entire day at a port or harbor. This cruise is ideal for everyone with the love of sail cruising and the peace and quiet offered on small ship cruises.

WIND SURF DINING

The Restaurant is the main dining room on board with seating for 272 guests with tables arranged for between 2 and 8. It has open dining but dinner is generally between the hours of 7.30 to 9.30. There is smoking and non-smoking areas to the restaurant. Daily dishes are designed by the two onboard master chefs Joachim Splichal and Jeanne Jones who specialising in nouvelle cuisine.

The Degrees Bistro with 124 seats serves more worldwide cuisines and Joachim Splichal’s steakhouse cuisine. It has an open kitchen so you can watch your food being prepared or admire the views from the full side windows. The tables are also for between 2 and 6 guests but it is only a non-smoking restaurant. You would have to reserve for this dining experience.

The Veranda is for informal open dining on its terrace for breakfast and lunchtime buffets or grilled fish or meat cooked on the barbeque.

The Compass Rose has indoor and outdoor seating and bar but mainly offers light snacks or pastries and coffee at breakfast time.

There is also 24-hour room service or maybe you would prefer a romantic night in and order in the “Cuisine de L’Amour” a special meal for two brought to your cabin and set up by candlelight.

WIND SURF ENTERTAINMENT

Main lounge also houses the casino in one corner. Music onboard is provided by the ship’s band, which mainly play quiet selections of listening and dancing to pieces. There are no shows and acts as the ships mentality is to give its’ guests a quiet time away from that type of entertainment. Although for something different from quiet strolls around the decks or watching television in your cabin you could participate in an art auction after dinner in the lounge.

Library has a coffee bar and eight computers and WIFI access for laptops, the ideal location for comfortable relaxation or catching up on your emails.
