Walvis Bay Cruises
The deep sea harbour of Walvis Bay is situated midway down the coast of Namibia as such serves as the gateway for much of the regions international trade.
Primarily regarded as fishing port, it is no surprise that visitors are offered the opportunity to take in a seal and dolphin cruises, which often allow for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hand-feed the creatures in their own environment. For the more adventurous, the port also has a wide range of water sport facilities for activities such as kite and wind surfing. Venture further inland and visitors are able to take excursions into the sparse-but-beautiful Namibian desert.
