Variety Cruises Awarded by ATA

Variety Cruises have recently been awarded recognition for bringing ecologically sustainable ocean and river cruising to Africa. The award was presented at the Harbour of Los Angeles on September 16th 2012 by the Africa Travel Association.

Variety Cruises offer many cruises to destinations including the Red Sea, West Africa and Mali and Greece. With 15 small ships in their fleet, they are one of the largest small ship cruise lines in the world. The ships have capacities of 44 to 50 guests allowing a relaxed atmosphere onboard and guests to come and go freely at a variety of ports.

The Africa Travel Association awarded Variety Cruises the due to their ecological sustainability. As each of the ships in their fleet are very small compared to the mega liners, they are creating a lot less wastage and offer an altogether more environmentally friendly cruise.
