Strictly Come Dancing Takes To The Seas With P&O Cruises

BBC’s popular show Strictly Come Dancing may no longer be captivating us on Saturday evenings but for guests onboard two P&O Cruises next year, they will get another chance to enjoy a little bit of that Strictly glitter.

P&O Cruises has announced that top professionals from the Strictly show will be onboard two Oriana Cruises both departing from Southampton- a 12 night Canary Islands cruise departing on May 28 and a 14 night Fjords cruise departing on July 14. Guests onboard the cruises will be given lessons by Strictly’s talented dance professionals in foxtrot, quickstep, jive and rumba, and sharp-tongued judge Craig Revel Horwood will also be joining them for an evening.

Guests will also be able to watch and admire the award-winning routines from the show performed live by the Strictly Come Dancing professionals and get a chance to view the collection of exquisite costumes worn by the celebrities of this year's series.

Richard Halliwell, Strictly Come Dancing commercial brand director, said: “The Strictly brand is very well suited to an ocean cruise given the heady mixture of elegance, romance, high-class entertainment and exhilarating destinations. We’re very excited about this new adventure with P&O Cruises and I believe Craig Revel Horwood has already packed his bags!”
