FAQs
Why go on a ship visit?
If you are new to cruising, or are thinking of taking a cruise on a ship with a line that you haven't sailed with before, then a ship visit is perfect. It's a great sample of what to expect on a cruise and might help you make up your mind if you're undecided on whether a particular cruise line is suitable for you.
What happens on a ship visit?
Many ship visits are take place during the day, often commencing at around 10:00. From here you will be given a presentation and a tour of the ship, followed by food and drinks. Obviously this varies but this is the traditional format. If you are accepted for a ship visit we will send you the specific details in advance.
Is there a cost attached?
Whilst we'd love to send everyone on free ship visits, it's not always possible. On the occasions that there is a cost involved we will let you know as soon as possible and as a rough guide, the average cost is around £30 per person, excluding travel expenses etc. Of course, you are under no obligation to take the ship visit if you change your mind.
How many people can I take?
More often than not, you will only be able to take one additional guest. Of course, we will endeavour to let you know in advance as soon as possible if this changes.
If you are still interested please contact clare@cruiseline.co.uk and write a short email as to why you would like to take part in a ship visit and we will do our best to accommodate you on one of the many we have coming up. Those of you who are not lucky enough to obtain a place this time round, will be first in the queue for any upcoming trips.
Good Luck!
