Queen Elizabeth

Perhaps no other cruise line combines enduring, elegant tradition and comfortable, beautifully appointed ships quite like Cunard Cruises. The new Queen Elizabeth continues this tradition, with an overall Art Deco feel in the many spacious public rooms and outdoor spaces that are reminiscent of the famous ocean liners that were her forebears.

One of the biggest ships ever crafted for Cunard and larger than both the Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth comes in at a stately 90,000 tons and has a capacity of 2,058 passengers. Accommodation runs the gamut, from comfortable insides to luxurious suites and apartments with access to a private courtyard for alfresco dining in warmer climes.

Old favourites also return, including the spectacular Commodore Club, with its wall of floor to ceiling windows looking out over the bow, the elegant Queens Room, and the famous Golden Lion pub. The main show lounge spans two storeys, and features private boxes.

The Heritage Trail features an amazing wealth of evocative Cunard memorabilia from over the years, and the ship’s library is one of the most expansive anywhere at sea, with a bewildering selection. Allied to numerous dining options and a vast amount of outdoor deck space, it all serves to mark out the Queen Elizabeth as a choice for a very special adventure indeed.
