Norwegian Sun is a 78,309 ton resort ship, almost identical in design to the Norwegian Sky. The vessel comprises of 12 passenger decks which provide 1,001 cabins of varying size, from the lavish Owner’s Suite to the modest but comfortable Inside Stateroom. Due to fine construction there is abundant outdoor space - especially on the pool deck - with plenty of room to stroll and sunbath.
With 12 different dining options on board the Norwegian Sun, meal times are very gratifying. Most culinary needs are taken care of by Four Seasons and Seven Seas Dining Room, which seat 564 and 604 respectively, but on special occasions couples can savour first-rate French cuisine at Le Bistro or Japanese dishes at Ginza. Meanwhile families and children will appreciate more casual repasts at Garden Café, with it’s 24-hour buffet service.
Norwegian Sun is more akin to a floating leisure centre than a ship with so many recreational facilities to choose from. Adults can unwind in Bodywaves Spa, game at Sun Club Casino, catch magnificent show productions at Stardust Theatre or dance the night away at Dazzles Nightclub. Children will enjoy the video arcade, sports facilities (that include a basketball court and baseball-batting cage) and an exciting youth program which caters for all ages.
