New Royal Princess Itineraries

Princess Cruise’s latest vessel, the Royal Princess, will begin her service for the world-famous cruise line on 23^rd June 2013 with a 7-night cruise sailing from Southampton to Barcelona before embarking on a collection of 12-day Mediterranean voyages between Barcelona and Venice.

The cruise line also announced the first snippets of information regarding the design and layout of the Royal Princess’s atrium section. The Royal Princess’s atrium is said to play host to a variety of new features, such as an Italian cocktail bar, a gelateria, a gift shop and an Ocean Terrace seafood bar.

Alongside these new attractions, the Royal Princess cruise ship will also house some Princess Cruises’ favourites including the Crooners piano bar and Sabatini’s Trattoria.

Jan Swartz, executive vice-president for Princess Cruises believes that this combination of new and familiar will see the Royal Princess appeal to a wide spectrum of potential guests, commenting “the expansion in size of this space [the atrium] provided us with an opportunity to add some brand new venues what is already a favourite passenger area.”
