Bahrain consists of a group of thirty-three islands off the east coast of Saudi Arabia. The main Island is connected to Saudi Arabia by a causeway. Much of the country is made up of desert, however the cities offer modern buildings and a complex of man-made islands lay on the southern coast of the main island of Bahrain.
The country is heavily influenced by Islamic culture due to the fact it is the country’s official religion.
