Celebrity Mercury is the newest of the Century-Class ships constructed in 1997 at a cost of $320 million. It is a large resort vessel at 77,713 tons in weight, consisting of 10 passenger decks and 935 cabins. Cabins range in size from the luxurious Penthouse Suite to the very comfortable Interior Stateroom. Through fine construction the ship has a great space per passenger ratio and more than 190,000 sq. ft of open deck.

With 909 members of staff aboard the Celebrity Mercury service is superb, as is the amount of recreation on offer. Facilities include 3 swimming pools, a casino, a library, a 1000-seat show lounge and a 9,040 sq. ft AquaSpa. Other highlights include a three-deck-high entrance hall with marble floors and a waterfall, aswell as a $3.5 million art collection.

The ship offers fine cuisine and excellent service, as passengers have come to expect from all Celebrity Cruises vessels. The Manhattan restaurant is a grand dining venue with large picture windows and a creative and flavoursome menu, while the Lido Café is a more informal eatery serving buffet meals. Guests may also take advantage of a 24-hour butler service within the comfort of their own cabin.
