Laos’s main trade centre, Luang Prabang, is situated approximately 425kms from the Louangphrabang Province. A former French colony, Prabang exudes a unique charm founded on years of cultural history and change.
Primarily a river port, Prabang nestles on the bank of the Mekong River and its village has been declared a World Heritage Centre since 1995.
