Dubai and Emirates Cruises

Luxury Dubai and Emirates Cruises

A luxury cruise of Dubai and the Arab Emirates is one that will leave you in awe as you visit one of the most diverse and culturally rich destinations in the world.

Over the last several years, Dubai cruises have increased in popularity and more cruise lines offer itineraries here every year, including Cunard, Seabourn and Swan Hellenic. If you are hoping to experience unique culture, ancient wonders and true mystery, then Dubai and the Arab Emirates is most certainly the region for you - and thanks to pre and post-cruise hotel stays being readily available, you can really soak up all the Dubai has to offer.

Ports of call include Muscat and Khasab in Oman, Sokhna, Aqaba in Jordan (for tours to Petra), Salalah and Safaga in Egypt (for tours to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings). A Suez Canal transit is also featured on many itineraries and is an experience not to be missed.

Dubai Cruises

Dubai, known as the Pearl of the Arabian Gulf, is a city that seamlessly mixes the modern world with the traditional. You can explore stunning religious sites such as the Jumeirah Mosque or indulge in designer fashion at the modern Mall of the Emirates. Some of the world's most luxurious hotels can also be found in Dubai; including the Burj Al Arab, which notes itself as the world's only seven-star hotel.

Other popular attractions here include Ski Dubai, Palm Islands, Burj Khalifa (the world's tallest building - a ride to the top is not for the faint hearted!), Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dune Safari and the Dubai Marina. Dubai really is a destination that offers everything.

Oman Cruises

Oman sits between the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Gulf and offers a varied coastline with an underwater paradise of exotic marine life - ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving. The country sits at the mouth of the Persian Gulf, bordered by the United Arab Emirates to the northwest, Saudi Arabia to the west and Yemen to the southwest. Oman also shares a marine border with Iran. Because of its location, Oman enjoys a warm climate year-round with very little rainfall - making it perfect for winter travel.

Places of interest include Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, National Museum of Oman, Royal Opera House Muscat and Al Jabal Al Akhdar; which is part of the Al Hagar Mountain Range.

Jordan Cruises

When you think of Jordan you might automatically think of Petra and although many documents have been written about this ancient place, you have to see it with your own eyes to believe it. The entrance to the city is through the Siq, a narrow gorge over 1km in length and flanked either side by towering 80 metre high cliffs. As you reach the end of the Siq, you shall catch your first glimpse of Al-Khasneh, a 30-metre wide and 43-metre high facade, carved entirely out of the pink rock face. It was carved in the early 1st century as the tomb of a Nabataean King.
