Asia Cruises

ASIA IS BRIMMING WITH OPPORTUNITIES AND OFFERS SOMETHING FOR EVERY TYPE OF TRAVELLER

Luxury cruises to this region used to be reserved for sections of world cruises, but as our tastes and desires for world travel advance, we are seeing more cruise lines adding Asia and the Indian Ocean to their shorter itinerary options. There are world famous sights to see, incredible shopping to be had some interesting cuisine options to try on a luxury cruise to Asia.

Experience the hustle and bustle of vibrant cities like Hong Kong and Colombo before delving deep into the rich and mysterious history and cultures of places such as Yangon in Myanmar. Beach days are also offered on calls to the tropical island that is Mauritius.

Asia is one of the hottest new cruise destinations and there are hundreds of voyages available aboard a vast selection of cruise lines. If ultra-luxury is your choice, then look no further than Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Seabourn, Silversea, Crystal Cruises and Oceania Cruises. Each of these lines offers 5-star plus luxury and some of the most exciting Asia-Pacific voyages on earth. Regent Seven Seas Cruises also offers your Asia experience on a completely all-inclusive basis – even your shore excursions are included. Other lines that sail the region include: P&O Cruises, Cunard Line, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and Oceania Cruises.

BEST TIME TO VISIT ASIA ON A CRUISE

As Asia is a massive continent of different regions each with their own microclimates, it’s difficult to sum up the BEST times to visit the region. It really comes down to what you want to see and do during your time there. As an example, January is one of the best months to visit Cambodia as there is often little or no rain and temperatures are incredibly pleasant – ideal for exploring the wonderful culture of the country.

Temperatures often rise in southeast Asia by the end of March and it can become quite uncomfortable. The rainy season runs from May until October. Most cruise lines tend to visit during the best months of the year, although, of course, nothing can be guaranteed where Mother Nature is concerned.
