Acapulco Cruises
During the 50's and 60's Acapulco was seen as the definitive Mexican resort by the rich and famous. Whilst it has yet to reach those heights again, it is undergoing a resurgence and is once again proving extremely popluar with those who like to dine in style and experience some of the most beautiful weather imaginable. There are a number of stunning beaches in walking distance of the port, and for a small charge a local taxi will take you to the heart of the city where you can shop to your hearts desire in one of the many boutiques and malls.
For something a little different, it is worth taking a visit to La Quebrada, where local cliff divers will often put on performances for tourists. Alternatively, you could visit The Catheral on the Zocalo or Fort San Diego, both beautiful reminders of times gone by.
